Role description:

Associate Technical Director – USA Mobility – Lead the multi-disciplinary team of Roadway Design, Drainage Design, ITS, Citizen Development and Visualization groups. Experience in handling and delivering Design & Build and State DoT projects with proficiency in various Bentley tools as mentioned in Mandatory Technical Skills. Should have led the teams and projects carry out design and production Roadway design, 3D Modelling, CAD production and quantities and should have work experience as Task Manager and should have led project team size of more than 4 at least once for D&B Projects. Experience on D & B projects –concept design, Alternative Technical Concepts, and detailed design of projects, involved in construction support. Should have handled Design –Build projects for any of international projects. Specific USA experience is most desirable. Should have experience in leading multi-disciplinary projects and strong understanding on interdependencies of other disciplines.

Role accountabilities:

  • Responsible for overall Team performance of PD&E Group (Roadway Design & Drainage Design) and additional responsibility in guiding Digital Groups
  • Responsible for end-to-end project design and delivery for projects.
  • Responsible for achieving Billability and growth targets for the team
  • Coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Ability to lead and design D & B projects.
  • Should have handled minimum of 4 D & B projects-overseas preferably for ANA in Infrastructure Business.
  • Should have worked for US Projects and must be conversant with AASHTO and various DOT specifications and standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.E / BTech in Civil Engineering with Masters in Transportation / Highway Engineering (Desirable)
  • Minimum 13+ years of experience in Design Consulting Environment as of December 31, 2023.
  • Minimum of 8 years of working experience for International Design Projects for Highway / Roadway Design and minimum of 8 years of working experience for USA projects in delivering various design and modelling tasks for Roadway.
  • Having work experience on Design & Build Projects is an added advantage.
