This role requires blending design and production expertise to bring bold ideas to life with meticulous detail. The Design & Delivery Designer will work with the Design CD and Production agencies, ensuring the original design vision is maintained through every stage of implementation. This requires a blend of creative concepting and technical production skills to evaluate and control the quality of all graphic materials, both print and digital, for Latin American markets. Passion for translating creative concepts into high-standard executions and a keen eye for details in typography, motion, print, and digital/interactive production are essential.

Description

Responsibilities Include: Creative and Technical Excellence: Maintain the original design intent across all production stages. Oversee quality control for all graphic materials produced. Preparing digital ready assets for apple.com, partner websites and social media. Anticipating and solving issues addressing potential design and production problems related to resolution, pixel grids, color settings, image cropping, scaling and re-touching. Global Campaign Adaptation: Understand global campaign development and localization. Work with creative agencies and design studios to adapt campaigns for local markets. Collaborative Partnerships: Partner with Creative Directors, Project Managers, functional and cross-functional producers, and external vendors. Ensure effective communication and collaboration to meet project timelines. Vendor Management: Select and manage external vendors, overseeing production design and artwork for digital and print, ensuring alignment with Apple’s standards. Conceptual Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team to translate ideas into visually compelling designs that align with Apple’s brand standards. Project Coordination: Manage projects from approval to execution, ensuring seamless communication between partners. Manage the Design Quality Assurance (DQA) reviews of all apple.com interactive pages, Apple DMs and all digital and print Channel deliverables. Scaling Campaigns: Oversee design and production for scaling campaigns, maintaining consistency while adapting for different mediums, markets, and audiences. Developing, maintaining, and ensuring consistency and clarity on design documents, crafting and leading design roadmaps and pre-production layouts. Building production guidelines by developing documents, outlining design direction and production specifications for internal and external partners. Creative Problem-Solving: Collaborate with the Creative Services to find innovative solutions, proactively addressing challenges to ensure successful campaign execution.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Industry experience in a design studio or creative/advertising agency.
  • Must provide a design portfolio or work samples.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of overall experience in a production design or design role.
  • Strong design background with attention to detail and understanding of design principles and trends in digital and print.
  • Proficient with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator plus Keynote design layout skills. Knowledge of Sketch a plus.
  • Outstanding and effective communication skills, written and verbal, with a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Understanding of digital, retail and channel communications in the Latin American and/or US-Hispanic market.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Understanding of global campaign development and localization.
  • Critical thinking capability, with the ability to evaluate the implications of decisions at both the functional and strategic levels.
  • Proactive and creative solution-focused thinking and execution.
  • Strong collaboration skills – internally and externally with production vendors.
