The EPM organization is looking for an experienced Engineering Program Manager to lead highly cross-functional efforts delivering exceptional user experience across all Apple platforms. This role will require driving key initiatives for various software and hardware focused features and engaging with engineering teams to evangelize best practices and pursue improvements. This role requires an energetic and motivated individual with strong communication and organization skills, as well as an ability to influence a large cross-functional audience. Description
We are looking for someone to drive, own, and ship all aspects of large, multi-functional efforts and feature areas. Partner with engineering teams throughout feature development from architecture, design, implementation, and validation. Proactively identify, prioritize, and drive resolution to program issues. Present and communicate new feature initiatives, top issues, risks, critical achievements to executive leadership. Own the roadmap, priorities, prioritization, timelines, for technologies. Help the team with ongoing improvements to the program management processes. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Marketing team.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 5 years of program or product management in software development
- Knowledge of software engineering standard methodologies and related dependencies
- Experience driving multi-functional efforts across major technical fields: SW, HW, Silicon, and QA
Preferred Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills to engineers, managers, and execs
- Identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies, and facilitating resolutions
- Sound technical foundation and a highly motivated self-starter
- Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire team members
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
