The Medicare Stars Team at Aetna is experiencing growth and expansion! This presents an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, collaborative team as a Technical Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation and support of midrange web technologies that enable Medicare Stars employer web environments to meet service level agreements while remaining responsive and proactive to evolving business needs.

Your responsibilities will include customizing, maintaining, and/or developing code to support operations for Aetna’s Medicare Stars Data Intelligence team by building web infrastructure environments for both development and production web application server environments, including Microsoft IIS to facilitate software deployment.

Your specific duties will encompass:

– Independently designing and/or coding efficient, cost-effective software application solutions (developing new code and/or reusing existing code using application development tools and/or integrating purchased solutions).
– Addressing operational support requests and small projects that require advanced skills across multiple technical environments and disciplines, which have a system-wide impact and may integrate across the organization.
– With limited guidance, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
– Creating technical designs for new software or enhancements.
– Monitoring the overall capacity and performance of software and web server environments, performing necessary diagnostics and tuning for Microsoft IIS servers.
– Optimizing web infrastructure components for optimal performance in alignment with system and application objectives.
– Participating in the development of operational processes.
