Job Summary

Responsible for performing all activities associated with picking and shipping of orders to members homes and businesses.  These include but are not limited to: Using a digital handheld device to locate and pick merchandise orders from the selling floor, safe navigation of a large picking cart around the club including during club hours, assembly of cardboard boxes, packing of orders in a safe and damage-free manner, moving of pallets of supplies using a pallet jack or other material handling equipment, assisting with the loading of UPS/FedEx trucks, shrink wrapping pallets.  This role requires frequent lifting of merchandise. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Processes member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner by utilizing a handheld digital device to pull merchandise from the selling floor.   • Processes returns to the club and makes determination on how to handle (via DDR or Membership desk)

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Previous order pulling experience preferred.
  • Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.

Job Conditions

  • Most of the time is spent moving about continuously on hard surfaces. There may be a need to frequently position oneself to examine and/or scan merchandise, including bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping. Ship From Club Ambassador Part Time
  • Continuously requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds. May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $14.00.
