Responsibilities

Lead a team collectively responsible for analytical modeling, supply chain reporting, process improvements, demand forecasting, ad hoc analysis, development of KPIs, and supplier performance. Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Strategy and Analytics

  • Lead, coach, motivate, delegate tasks, prioritize objectives, set goals, and facilitate performance conversations for a team of analysts that support Spirit’s Supply Chain
  • Deploy recurring & ad hoc reports that align with business needs; Develop, track, and lead automation initiatives to visual operational and financial KPIs to performance objectives
  • Use analytical tools to produce descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analyses in a supply chain context; Extract actionable insights from large datasets
  • Use continuous improvement methodology to systematically improve, stabilize and optimize business processes and designs
  • Manage Sprit’s transportation budget and related freight analysis
  • Manage Spirit’s cycle count program, schedule, and SOP to promote inventory accuracy
  • Drive innovation & enable technology initiatives to create efficiencies and promote productivity.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments). Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Strategy and Analytics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in the airline industry, highly preferred
  • MBA or master’s degree in a quantitative field (business, management, statistics, economics, information technology, etc.) (preferred)
  • 5 or more years of experience using analytical skills to develop and drive cross functional strategic initiatives
  • 3 or more years of experience leading Supply Chain Teams (Aviation industry preferred), preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (analyze large data sets, automate routine tasks, build complex graphs, manage pivot tables, etc.)
  • Understand the various capabilities and limitations of Microsoft Power BI (or similar data visualization tools)
  • Trax or other Aircraft Maintenance ERP System knowledge (preferred)
  • Knoweldge of Data Science, highly desired

Certifications

  • Lean 6 Sigma Greenbelt/Blackbelt (preferred)
  • APICS CPIM (preferred)
